Good question!

Many people assume that you can just put up a site/store and somehow people will just find it and they can get rich off of selling adult products.  Not the case.

You need traffic, which means you need a steady supply of people coming to your site on a regular basis to get sales.  Remember, on most Ecommerce sites, a good conversion rate is 1%-3%, which means only 1-3 people out of 100 will buy anything at all. But, first you’ve got to get them there. 3% of 0 customers is 0 sales, period.

So, you need A LOT of traffic, and the type of traffic which is ready to buy from your site NOW.  This is called “qualified traffic”.

What is Qualified Traffic?

Qualified traffic is customers who are looking for your product or service (have a need for it because it solves a problem they have), have the money to buy it, and are ready and willing to buy it when they land at your store.

How do you get qualified traffic?  By marketing.

There are many ways to market online these days, some of which takes a lot of money and a big marketing budget, and some of which takes more time, effort, and skills.

Either way, you need to pay to play, with either time, money or both.

Types of Online Marketing:

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Search Engine Marketing is a type of web marketing which promotes web sites by increasing visibility in search engine results pages through search engine optimization as well as through paid advertising, strategic content marketing and social media networks.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

A refinement of SEM, SEO (or Search Engine Optimization) improves the rankings or visibility of a web page in search engines search results. SEO strategies work to move targeted search results higher in rankings when results are presented to users of search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo!, and others. The higher the rankings when results are displayed, the more likely consumers are to click on the link and go to the targeted web site. SEO marketing includes onsite strategies including creating content, reducing site speed and key word strategies, as well as offsite strategies like backlink building. This is one of the main type of marketing strategies that Sexperteaze uses to drive traffic to sites. It is one of the most affordable, and the most effective, especially for long term results.

Display Advertising

Display advertising is a static ad, similar to ads in newspapers and magazines, such as “banner ads” on web sites which are displayed on other sites providing backlinks to the targeted website..

Video marketing also creates a stronger bond with customers, and is very useful for branding and influencing customers to purchase products.
